November
Happenings
Knotty Knights-Lot
16
Overall a quieter month on the DJ and events schedule.
DJ Triple-X held residence at Lot 16, 1136 Queen Street West,
every Friday. Each week seems to be getting busier and busier,
and the requests crazier and crazier - everything from Madonna
and J. Geils Band to Bauhaus and Lords of the New Church - and
guess what, Triple-X had them all!
So what you waiting for, come out and try to stump the DJ with
a request.
Watch for a Holiday edition of Knotty Knights coming up on
December 23rd for all you ho ho's.

Fort York Food
Bank Holiday Open House
Triple-X also helped to
organize and attended this very special event:
Tuesday, November 29, 2005
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
797 Dundas Street West
(one block West of Bathurst,
on the South side of Dundas)
The Open House was an opportunity for the FYFB directors and
volunteers to share with friends, colleagues and community leaders
the many ways they help people in need through their services.
There was plenty of food and refreshments, both prepared by
the community kitchen and donated by local businesses, including
Magpie (831 Dundas Street West) and Musa (847 Dundas Street
West ). Guests also were given tours of the new facilities and
provided with an opportunity to meet some of the people whose
lives have been positively impacted by the work that the dedicated
volunteers and staff perform.
There was a great diversity in who attended - FYFB Board of
Directors, volunteers, media, local personalities, non-profit
representatives, community members and friends of friends.
A special mention goes to Fosters Wines for donating an amazing
selection of their Australian Rosemount Estate collection. An
instant hit with quite a few individuals.
It was an opportunity to meet the people and learn about the
services that make FYFB such a special place in the heart of
the city.
