Return to the Catacombs @ The Vatikan

Return to the Catacombs” is a throw back to all that was cool at the old Sanctuary (Vampire Sex Club). Every Sunday the doors of the Vatikan swing open to invite an array of dark souls into the bat cave.

On May 15th, Triple – X Productions presented a very special performance. From NYC, Bi-Porno Electro Juggernaut Houston Bernard (www.houstonbernard.com) brought his sexually charged trashy antics to the stage for a set of “guitar driven metal riffs and foul-mouthed raps.” After touring much of the USA, this was his first time in Canada, so the crowd was prepared for the worse. It’s was also his official CD release party for Whores Have More Fun.

The night also featured DJ mixes of current and past hard-edged electronic beats, along with the darker and heavier Goth anthems, with guest DJ Triple-X. It was definitely geared to the avant-garde crowd seeking something new in club land.

Knotty Knights @ Lot 16

On May 20th guest DJ from France, David Bouquerel, mixed it up with a set of minimalist French techno beats. He’s recently finished up his studies at Glendon College where he was the Senior Music Director at CKRG Radio. He's now in the midst of starting a gig at the CBC as regular host for a new program.

Erotic Nights @ The Gladstone Ballroom

Just another SMUTTY Sunday night happened on May 29th at this quarterly festival of fornication.

It was a fundraiser for the LGBT Youth Line and many great people turned out to show their support. Hosted by Ryan G. Hinds, with performances by Professor Yehuda's Kinky Crafts and Aslan Leather, Mark Brown, and Syphide. There were also some provocative videos and nasty spoken word pieces.
